All Hail Ernesto! whatever...

This is about the most unimpressive storm I have seen called a hurricane. In fact, as I write, hurricane hunters are performing an instrument drop that will surly indicate that winds have fallen well below hurricane levels and it will be downgraded to a TS.
As has been the case for the past three seasons, the media is going nuts. If not for the plane crash in Kentucky this morning, they (CNN, Fox News, MSNBC, TWC) would be in wall-to-wall coverage of Hurricane Ernesto. I suppose the fact that it should make landfall in the states on the one-year anniversary of Hurricane Katrina is newsworthy but aside from that, I see this being a CAT1 storm at best, given the terrain it still must traverse as it crosses Cuba "long-ways" and finally reaches warm waters again.
