Passed Over:

Tomorrow is definitely looking like a no-go on the rain forecast from earlier this week. Local TV weather people are getting excited about anything they possibly can. I can't blame them as I am sure they are sick of making forecasts for fire weather - which, by the way, Oklahoma is back in the extreme fire danger category today.

Luckily, relief is on its way in the form of the next storm system as it creeps across the area. I am not expecting much rain in the Tulsa area, although we will get some. The models, as of 12z, indicate SE OK and NE TX being the wet spots. These are the areas that need it most - lets hope it verifies.
Looks like onset will be later Saturday evening but the majority of the wet stuff will fall on Sunday in SE OK.
More later.
