Forecast for 12/13/05 - RAIN!

The NAM over the past three runs has consistently placed much of the eastern half of Oklahoma in moderate precip tomorrow from 6:00pm through the evening. The 18z NAM run favored the area north of Tulsa though for heavy precip with areas from Chanute, KS to Kansas City looking at a pretty good soaking. South of that area, rainfall amounts will slowly decrease with change in latitude to around McAlester where precip will be almost non-existent.
I hope Tulsa will get at least .25" out of this system but that is a lot of hoping given the forecast. One thing is certain; I will not have to worry about forgetting to empty my rain gauge before tomorrow's precip begins... It is dry as a bone - and has been for over a month with the exception of a few snowflakes last week.
