Hi.

I'm a private weather industry marketing executive specializing in the strategic approach to SaaS in established and emerging markets.

Gustav - no superstar

Being in a fairly remote area right now, I have access to only the four major networks and a very slow internet connection. I'm getting any storm information I can from the internet connection since as of right now, the media coverage of this event sucks. At least on the majors.
Gustav appears to be behaving as of right now. As I write this there are 10 tornado warnings issued. With as much coverage as previous storms have had, I have to wonder why on holiday when most network programing is canned B.S., why Gustav isn't getting a little more media love.
When I get back to civilization maybe the cable coverage will be better.

I'm interested to see how things go after Gustav is inland. It appears Oklahoma, at least the eastern portions, should get some good rain out of the deal. More later.
